By booking a session with Morgan Alexis Photography, you are acknowledging and agreeing that you have read and understand the policies listed below:

c a n c e l l a t i o n :

Client understands that by entering into this agreement, Morgan Alexis Photography LLC is foregoing other photographic jobs. In the event of client cancellation at anytime after booking, any retainers paid are non-refundable and will be forfeited. If no retainer was paid, a $50 cancellation fee will incur.

r e s c h e d u l i n g b y c l i e n t :

If client chooses to postpone or reschedule the portrait session/agreement, the retainers paid are non-refundable. A new retainer may be required to secure a new date. Retainers MAY be transferable one time only (illness, family emergency, etc) when possible at Morgan Alexis Photography's discretion permitting availability. Forty-eight hours notice of postponements or cancellations is appreciated with a 12 hour notice being required or full payment of session is due.

In the rare event we need to reschedule your session, you will receive ample notice along with a $25 credit to your remaining balance.

w e a t h e r + r e s c h e d u l i n g :

If it is not possible for a session to take place on a scheduled day due to inclement weather, Morgan Alexis Photography LLC and Client will reschedule on an agreed date at the earliest date possible, with no additional charge. Most sessions can also be done same day and time in studio. We hope you can understand our strict policy - if we were to reschedule for any type of inconvenient or less than ideal weather, we would constantly be rescheduling here in Michigan. Morgan Alexis Photography generally does not reschedule outdoor sessions due to the following:

• Cold outdoor temperatures: 40-60 degrees is considered shootable, though it may not be ideal, especially for littles. To avoid a potentially cold session, plan an outdoor session between June and September. In the event of extreme cold, rescheduling may be possible on a case by case basis.

• Hot outdoor temperatures or high humidity: Temperatures in the 80's are considered shootable. Keep in mind sessions are photographed in either the early morning or late evening which are the least hottest parts of the day. In the event of extreme heat or humidity, rescheduling may be possible on a case by case basis.

• Cloudiness: Trust us, we want a golden hour photography session just as much, if not, more than you, BUT sometimes we have to make do. Unless it is extremely cloudy as to where lighting may be affected, we will not reschedule.

• Windiness: If your session is planned for by the lake, you can expect some wind. Be prepared to have a back up location where there is tree cover to break the wind.

t i m e :

Each session has an allotted amount of time. The allotted amount of time is an average amount of time we spend at a given session over our years of experience. It generally IS enough time, despite what you may think. At the photographer's direction, less or more time may be needed. Arriving late to your session cuts into your allotted time. For a successful session, arrive 5-10 minutes early!

e d i t i n g :

It is of Morgan Alexis Photography's discretion how images are processed and edited. If Client requests any additional alterations a fee of $10/image will be incurred.

l i a b i l i t y :

Morgan Alexis Photography LLC may not be liable in the unlikely event of injury or death that may occur at a session for any reason. Safety precautions are always taken at sessions to prevent and avoid unsafe conditions. Client may also not be held liable given the event that Morgan Alexis Photography LLC may become injured in any way.

m i s c.

There is no promise that any photo may be recreated. Child temperament and behavior during the session is not within Morgan Alexis Photography's control, therefore Morgan Alexis Photography LLC may not be held responsible for galleries that do not meet the session description's minimum image count.

m o d e l. r e l e a s e :

Morgan Alexis Photography has the right to use the photographs in all forms, in all media and in all manners, without any restriction. Photographer can grant use of the images to third Parties and all compensation for use and credit for the images remain the property of Morgan Alexis Photography. Photographer may share images on social media. Should client want images kept private, let photographer know at booking.
