I recommend 6-8 hours of wedding day coverage for Weddings - all depends on your wedding day timeline and vision.
I try to avoid perfectly planted feet and cliché poses. I want to show that depth and intimacy. I want to let your personalities and relationship guide the way I photograph you. I shoot backlit for that warm, golden hour glow. I edit every single photo I will deliver to you. Most photos will be in color and some will be in black and white. While I have a consistent editing style, I do let the mood of each wedding inspire the edit so some differences between wedding galleries may apply. All services require a signed contract as well as a $400.00 USD non-refundable retainer upon booking in order to reserve your event date. The remaining balance is due one month before the event.

No, I PREFER to fly solo! All of the wedding photos you've seen, have been done by little old me. I have spent over 5 years learning how to document a wedding by myself, completely and beautifully. I have created a rhythm and workflow that allows me to efficiently capture your day. A solid wedding timeline is all it takes to ensure your day is covered by one photographer and luckily, I encourage all of my clients to include me in the process of creating your wedding timeline. I'm not here to change your mind. If hiring a second photographer is important to you, you should invest in that. However if you're on the fence, consider this!
Here's what you've been told:
>> Your photographer can't be in two places at once
You might think having a second photographer will be useful while getting ready as you can have the lead photographer with the bride and send the second photographer off with the groom. However, I actually prefer do both even when I have worked with a second photographer. I want to ensure the images are captured to reflect my style. Never have I had the bride and groom get ready at locations too far from each other and often times, they get ready in the same hotel or on site at the venue. In terms of getting ready, the groom and his groomsmen only take 20-30 minutes which allows me to spend lots of time with the ladies. Groom's reaction of the bride? Check. The bride's reaction walking down the isle? Check. Experience and the right equipment allow me to capture your day alone.
>> You get different angles and artistic viewpoints
I have legs too! I can move around and capture different angles. Moreover, when I worked with second photographers, we often were getting in each other's shots no matter how much we tried not to. There is also the issue with clients not knowing which camera to look at, despite direction, and it can be more of a hinderance than benefit. In the past, I have worked with second photographers who I believe have *similar* photography styles to my own, but ultimately, we are different people. Style and composition isn't always consistent in the final product when hiring a second photographer. Even if you flood your wedding day with photographers, the photos you will love the most will come from the person whose work you fell in love with before you hired them.
>> It's less stressful
FALSE! More than likely you will not get an opportunity to meet your second photographer before your wedding day and therefore not able to build a relationship and connection with them. Your second photographer might be the one who is with you while you are getting ready and sharing intimate moments and you don't even know them. As a solo wedding photographer, I can 100% focus on you and your day instead of spending time directing the alternative photographer.
>> You get more photos
While this may slightly be true, when I have worked with second photographer's, I may use at most 50 photos they took toward your final gallery. We are always shooting the exact same thing and so it's a debate between my shot or theirs. I will ALWAYS prefer my own work over someone else's eye. I have two camera's on my body for the duration of a wedding day. If one camera ever malfunctioned, I have another one ready to go. Remember, more photographs does not make for better photographs.
1. I recommend you start by reading over this guide and check out the investment section. If you think we will be a great fit, let's get you booked! A signed contract and retainer is required to book.
2. Your collection booked with me includes timeline planning. I usually request we have a rough timeline drafted 2-6 months prior to wedding day. This is where we can brainstorm and create a custom wedding day timeline. This is usually done over email, but can be done over the phone or an in person consult.
3. If we are doing an engagement session, we will get that scheduled and make it happen. You will receive your edited images a few weeks after the session so you can use them for announcements, invitations, etc.
5. About a month before your wedding, I will send out your Final Details Questionnaire, which will collect the remaining final details from you that I will need to make sure the photography side of your wedding day runs perfectly.
6. Two weeks prior to your wedding a final timeline will be discussed and I'll collect your family shot list.
7. I show up to your wedding! I edit your wedding photos and curate them into a beautiful, online digital gallery, which you can download straight to your computer, save to your phone, and share with friends and family.
8. If your wedding package includes a Custom Heirloom Album, or if you have selected to add one on, this is when we start designing your album! You will be able to select your favorite photos from the wedding that you want included in your album directly on the online gallery. From there, I will carefully curate and design a gorgeous, custom heirloom album that brings your love story to life! Albums can be added on up to 4 weeks after the wedding.
9. We stay friends forever!
How many photos will we receive?
A.The number of photos depends on many things--hours of coverage, hours of dancing, etc. You could hire my services for 8 hours of coverage but at least 1-2 hours of that could be dedicated to traveling between locations and downtime at dinner. You'll be provided at minimum 250 photos for 8 hours of coverage. Keep in mind, I *typically*average 400+ photos in your final gallery!
What is your COVID-19 policy?
A.Covid-19 is a known a global pandemic at this time. I will abide by all local, state and federal guidelines surrounding Covid-19, will wear necessary personal protection equipment at the wedding, will practice necessary sanitation procedures, and will perform its services as planned if it still can still do so legally under applicable local, state and federal law. I will not allow rescheduling of any services if on the wedding date I can still legally perform services under applicable local, state and federal law, no matter what parameters are put in place regarding the maximum number of people gathered together or other pandemic regulations or guidelines outlined by the local, state, or federal government. In the event Clients reschedule, my standard rescheduling policy applies. I allow clients to reschedule the wedding one (1) time within a 6 month period of the original wedding date with a rescheduling fee of $300.00 USD provided I'm available. Changes to the wedding photography package pricing may occur. If we cannot find a mutually agreed upon date, we will follow the cancellation policy the and you will forfeit the non-refundable retainer. If Clients cancel more than 120 days before the wedding date, I will keep the non-refundable retainer as liquidated damages and Clients will not be responsible for any remaining balance due. If Clients fail to supply Notice of cancellation as specified before the wedding date or cancels within 120 days of the wedding date, Clients shall be required to pay the full remaining balance due by the original due date.
Can you help us choose a location and plan the timeline for our wedding day?
A.Absolutely! I LOVE being a part of the planning. All of my wedding collections, as well as sessions, include location and timeline planning assistance! However, I do reserve this service for my paying clients - meaning, if you don’t already have a location in mind, then the majority of our location and timeline planning will take place after the booking process is complete! I'm here to help you with as much as I can! But if you've got it all figured out, I can totally just go with the flow, too.
How far in advance do we need to book?
A.In order to ensure availability, we should get your date booked as soon as possible!
Do you charge a cancellation fee?
A.Nope! There is no cancellation fee for weddings/sessions. However, the retainer is non-refundable once paid. If you cancel within 120 days of the wedding, remaining balances will still be due on the original due date.
Do you use backups?
A.Yes! I always have at least two camera bodies and three or four lenses with me for weddings. Your photos are backed up immediately after the wedding/session. Your wedding is also ALWAYS photographed on two memory cards at once.
Q: How do we receive our photos?
A.All of your high resolution digital images will be delivered through a online client gallery, which you will be able to share and download!
What if we need you to stay longer than expected?
A.I keep your whole wedding day open so if you need me to stay longer than we originally scheduled, just let me know! I will invoice you for the additional coverage after the wedding.
What if we change our wedding date?
A.If your new date is open on my calendar, I'd of course be happy to switch it for you. There is a rescheduling fee of $300.00 USD. The date must be within 6 months of the original wedding date. However, if I am already booked for that day, we can discuss having an associate photographer shoot your wedding, so that I can still curate and edit your wedding photos, or if you prefer, I will put together a list of referrals for you to find another photographer that will be a great match!
Can we print our photos? Do you offer albums?
A.Yes and yes! Every gallery includes a print release! I also design custom albums!
